Mary-Jane and Betty-Sue Pleasant seemed to grow up fast.

Mary-Sue couldn’t believe that it was already time to trade in the cribs for real beds.

The girls got along great and were each other's best friends. They shared inside jokes and always seemed to know just how to get into the most trouble.

Mary-Sue was determined to get a picture of the girls for the family album but the girls couldn’t stay still long enough for a decent picture.

Mary-Sue gave up trying for a “nice” picture and just told the girls to ham-it-up for the camera.

Probably not the best picture ever taken but at least you can see that the girls are full of energy.

Betty-Sue is the tomboy of the two she loves remote control vehicles and is constantly playing with them in the house. Despite her Mother’s ‘House Rules’.

She also tends to be slower at getting her homework done. She is easily distracted by toys and games.

The item that balances out her misbehavior is the fact that she has a golden heart.

She always runs out to greet her mother with a big hug when her mom gets home from work.

She is the first to volunteer to help with school fund drives and is never shy about sticking up for a friend.

Betty-Sue is kind of shy compared to her sister. She likes just hanging out at home and playing games.

She plays a mean game of Merry-Mac and can usually talk her sister in to playing the game for hours on end.

She likes learning and though homework is never a favorite she does get it done fairly quickly and is always sure to have her mom help her out or at least check her work so that she knows she got it right.

With the extra money Mary-Sue was getting with her new promotion she splurged and bought the girls some play equipment for the yard.

They were so excited they stayed out well after bed time.

They were quite dizzy from the merry-go-round. Betty-Sue would get it spinning really fast and then they would both lean way out and watch the world go by in a blur.

Mary-Sue had been tempted to call them in when it got dark but instead she just watched from the kitchen window knowing that they wouldn’t stay this little for long.

Mary-Sue had discovered that she had a knack for fixing things. Like the little leak in the shower that she had nagged Daniel to fix for years.

"This is just loose; a few quick turns of the wrench should do it." She mumbled to herself as she fixed the drip that had annoyed her for years.
